Ordered Quantity from deleted item not

Symptom
In the Purchase Order, you deleted an item, but the "Ordered Quantity" amount in the Purchase Order Header
was not reduced.

1.
Create a Purchase Order with one or more line items.
The total amount will be shown in the Header fields "Ordered" and "Still to deliv." in Status tab:
Set the Delivery Completed Indicator ("Deliv. Compl.") for one of the items in "Delivery" tab:

In the "Status" tab on Header section, the value from "Ordered" quantity was not reduced:
Cause
This is the standard system behavior.
The system understands the Deletion Indicator in different ways depending on the scenario

Scenario 01:
If there is no Purchase Order history (that means no follow-on documents) and both "Delivery Completed
Indicator" (EKPO-ELIKZ) and "Final Invoice Indicator" (EKPO-EREKZ) are not set, the system will understand
that the item was created as a mistake and should be deleted. In that case, the quantity from Ordered Quantity
in the header will be reduced.
Example:
Deleted Line Item 10 from Purchase Order above, without posting Goods Receipt, Invoice and without
setting Delivery Completed and Final Invoice indicators:

Scenario 02:
If there is Purchase Order history (follow-on documents) or any of the above indicators (Delivery Completed or
Final Invoice), that means that you are satisfied with the quantity that was delivered or invoiced, even if it was
not fully delivered or invoiced.
When the item is deleted, the remaining amount will be reduced from the "Still to be delivered" field in PO
Header, but not from the Ordered Quantity.

In this case, the system understand that you are deleting the line item for other means, such as archiving, for
example.
Example:
In the images provided in the "Reproducing the issue" section, you can see that the "Ordered" Quantity was not
reduced, but the "Still to be delivered" quantity was:

Resolution
The reported behavior is standard.
The Ordered quantity will only be reduced on header after the deletion of an item when:
There is no Goods Receipt posted;
no Invoice posted;
no "Delivery Completed" indicator set and;
no "Final Invoice" indicator set.
