How do you introduce yourself to other people, and how does the information change depending on the situation?

1.  introduce to a new friend.

Hi/Hello/Good morning, my name is XXX, I work as a programmer in a software company in shenzhen.

I am responsible for developing new computer software or demo software.

I am good at developing windows applications, and I usually use visual c++ 6 to develop.

I am enjoy my current job very much because software development is a very creative and imaginative work.

Therefore, if you are(anyone here is) interested in computers or computer software, please let me know.

We can spend hours talking about computers.

And I am also interested in developing software in a Linux enviroment, because it's an open source OS and we can study more things from this OS.

Recently, I have started to study COM/DCOM knowledge, and I feel it is little difficult to develop it in Visual C++ 6.

However, it is much easier to develop in VS2005.

Now I will introduce myself briefly:
I have worked in software development for 3 years.

In these 3 years, I joined many projects and and gained skills in using MS visual studio and java.

In July 2004, I begin work for a software company (XXX company name 1)as a technical support engineer, where I was responsible for communicating with the customer and testing the new software version.

Because I'm capable of more responsibilities, I was upgraded to software development engineer. In this company I learned how to communicate some developing technologies with customers.

The reason for this change is that I'd like to find a job which is more challenging,
Last year I left (XXX company name 1), and since then, I have been working for a foreign enterprise as a software engineer(XXX company name 2). For the same reason I want to change my working environment now.

(Current Company name) is a (big)global company, so I feel I can gain the most from working in this kind of company environment.

I’m independent and am able to work under pressure. I have coordination skills, teamwork spirit.

Additionally, I have a good command of both spoken and written English.
