How to set connections in windows mobile emulator?

1. Make sure that Windows Mobile 6 SDK is installed

2. Run the tools Cellular Emulator under WM 6

3. Check the value at bottom left of Cellular Emulator (DE: COM*), Remember this value

4. Open mobile 6 emulator, File-> Configure-> Peripherals, change Serial port o to COM*, and then click OK.

5. Open Start-> Settings ->Connections->Connections, if you didn't change this option before, there should be two options, one is My ISP, the other is My Work Network. Choose one of them, there is no constraint. Take My ISP as an example, choose “Add a new modem connection” and assign it a name. The most important thing is that choose Cellular Line (GPRS) in Modem options. You can skip Access point name, user name and password by just clicking next and finish.

6. Return to the Connections, click Advanced, choose Select Network and then select My ISP in the two drop down list.

7. Return to the start page. choose File -> Reset -> Soft.

8. After restart, you will find the mobile emulator is connected to Internet, and you can make phone calls or send SMS messages
