PostgreSQL - error: connection to server on socket "/var/run/postgresql/.s.PGSQL.5432" failed: No such file or directory

Got below error when createdb:

error: connection to server on socket "/var/run/postgresql/.s.PGSQL.5432" failed: No such file or directory

 

This is because the same db was automatically created and used the default port 5432.
