Nike Basketball continues to alter classic Charles Barkley models, creating new and appealing hybrids. Today we’re getting our first look at the Nike Barkley Posite Max, a hybrid that combines the Nike Air Max2 CB ’94 with the classic Nike Air Foamposite. This particular colorway features a black and metallic teal base, while purple serves as an accenting hue. Together the soles read “I am not a Role Model”, a quote from Sir Charles, made famous in a Nike ad. As of now the shoe is slated to drop sometime in 2013, but we will keep you posted on a specific release.

Nike is cashing in on the Foamposite hype by bringing together 2 classic. Soon Nike will be dropping the Barkley Posite Max, which is a hybrid shoe combining classic Barkley look with a foamposite look. We see the eggplant foamposite wrap accented by black nubuck upper and hints of purple and teal. We also see that a glow in the dark bottom was incorporated to the shoe and the famous phrase "NOT A ROLE MODEL" on the bottom of both shoes.
