什么是MDT特征?

MDT((Minimization of Drive Tests)驱动器测试最小化)特性
-从商业ue上，通过收集测量数据，减少运行部署的驱动测试工作

在R10规范中有两种类型的MDT特性

Immediate MDT 

–UE performs measurement and reporting in CONNECTED mode.
–Reuse the measurement configuration and reporting mechanism of R8/R9, and extend the report with location information.

 

Logged MDT
–The measurement logging is only performed while In IDLE state
–Camped normally on the PLMN & RAT where UE is configured logged MDT

2、网络启用MDT时如何降低功耗

在原始的MTK设计中，当网络向UE发送MDT请求时，UE激活gps定位。因此，它可能会导致电力消耗问题和客户投诉，所以
你可以使用补丁来降低功耗:

Modem patch CRGen 91MP（eg.MT6750，mt5757，mt5755）: MOLY00233109 
Gen 92 MP1(eg.MT6799，MT6758 ): MOLY00242837 

合并补丁后，UE将判断是否激活GPS芯片执行
根据场景进行定位，更改位置信息报告
