[easy way] remote access a ubuntu (or some other Linux)
the problem
when I trying to remotely contral a ubuntu from windows, I found it’s really agony to set up. I tried
software | issue |
---|---|
teamviewer | dependency unmet |
anydesk | dependency unmet |
vnc | could not share clipboard |
microsoft remote desktop (lots configuration) | could not share clipboard |
All these, somehow, made me frustrated. Now, how should I solve the problem?
solution
There is a website called alternativeto.net, where maintaining a list of alternatives of any softwares. I visit that website, search for “teamviewer”, I found a list of candidates. Then, I tried some. I found nomachine
is the one easy to configuration and is able to share clipboard meeting my demand.
