   Lee B. Erickson是PSU的博士生(信息科学与技术学院)。这篇论文研究的问题是:现有企业如何利用众包来取代或辅助目前的资源与过程?论文的主体部分是3-5章: S3提出了研究问题和研究方法,S4介绍了研究过程的重点,S5则给出了初步的研究结果。以下是论文摘录:

 

1. (概念)innovation gap / innovation crisis
"the gap between a firm's ability to generate continuous innovation and the market's demand for innovation"

 

2. innovation的概念很多种,本文采用的是广义上的意思:"refers to new ideas or solutions to problems that lead to improvements or advancements for the organization within their marketplace ... innovation may be incremental or breakthough, result in reduced costs, improved productivity, or open new unexplored markets." (S3)

 

3. 本文的研究问题可以细分为以下四个问题(S3)

  • 企业为什么利用众包来寻求产品/服务创新?
  • 哪些任务被众包?
  • 促进或阻碍众包的因素是什么?
  • 如何判定众包是否成功?

针对这些研究问题,本文应用了"扎根理论(grounded theory)"进行研究(S3),数据分析的来源主要有三种:(1)学术刊物;(2)采访实践者;(3)案例分析。(S4)


4. (S5)展示了初步的结论,共识别了8个theme,分为三大类:
