Suggested answer:
A: How can I succeed in the upcoming interview?
B: Most interviews form their opinion of you in the first few minutes of a meeting. So you should take the chance and make a good impression.
A: Does it mean I have to dress formally?
B: That's true. Dress smart. This is the first time the interviewer will see you and, like it or not, what you wear could affect your chances of securing the job.
A: I see what you mean. I should also be friendly to the receptionist, office assistant, or anyone else who may greet me before and after the interview.
B: That's just what I was thinking. And remember to bring along an extra resume and letters of recommendation in case the interviewer doesn't have them handy.
A: I couldn't agree more. There is no danger when there is preparedness.
B: The last imporant thing is you should never be nervous during the interview. You should keep your spirits up and maintain your confidence.
A: That's absolutely true. Confidence is all I need.
