• A number of tools exist to help you quickly install Ruby and Ruby on Rails on your system. Windows users can use Rails Installer

    

$ ruby -v
$ sqlite3 --version

step2:

  Installing Rails

$ gem install rails
$ rails --version

step3:

      DEVELOPMENT KIT:  

      For use with Ruby 2.0 and above (x64 - 64bits only)

     The RubyInstaller Development Kit (DevKit) is a MSYS/MinGW based toolkit that enables you to build many of the native C/C++ extensions available for Ruby.

     DEVELOPMENT KIT wiki: Quick start:
     Download it, run it to extract it somewhere (permanent).

     Then cd to it, run ruby dk.rb init and ruby dk.rb install to bind it to ruby installations in your path.

step4:

  

$ rails new -h
$ rails new Website
$ cd Website
$ bin/rails server

step5:

To see your application in action, open a browser window and navigate to http://localhost:3000.

 You should see the Rails default information page:

$ bin/rails generate controller Welcome index
