In the past two weeks, I have learned to infer the emotions of characters from details. For example, in the first class, we observed the protagonist's emotions through the details of the video "The Necklace", and discovered her unwillingness towards her own destiny through her expression and tone. Multimodal writing requires extra attention to details, let's write through them. Whether it's Crayon Shin chan or Spider Man: The Universe, which I watched, both have very detailed depictions of the protagonist's personality.
At the same time, I also learned that multimodal writing includes various forms of content such as text, images, sound, and video. Not only that, learning multimodal writing has also helped me change traditional forms of writing and use various software and tools to create and edit my PowerPoint or video content. In the multimodal writing course, I can also learn to recognize and analyze different types of multimodal text, such as advertisements, web pages, movie posters, animations, and social media posts. This also helps me to some extent in finding information and publishing my writing content on different social media platforms in the future. And we can also improve communication and collaboration skills through team projects and discussions, integrate ideas, and extract the best ideas. As for the issue, I think the speed of class is a bit too fast, which will make my thinking lag a bit.
