whatis 命令的安装

CENTOS 6.8最小化安装后，缺少很多的实用的命令，本段描述whatis的安装

whatis是由man.x86_64提供，因此通过安装man包增加whatis命令

1.安装man

[root@stroage ~]# yum install -y man

现在使用whatis会提示没有合适的事物，还需要创建whatis检索的数据库。

[root@stroage ~]# whatis ls
ls: nothing appropriate

2.通过makewhatis创建whatis检索的数据库

[root@stroage ~]# makewhatis

3.测试whatis命令

[root@stroage ~]# whatis ls
ls (1) - list directory contents
