其实是一个ASP.Net 1.0下的一个OLAP Web Control，由GrapeCity, Inc.开发，在Microsoft网站上免费下载，这个控件最早竟然出的是日本鬼子的鸟语版本，后来才出的英文版本，可能GrapeCity, Inc.是倭国的吧（到它的中文网站上可以看到它开发的很多不错的控件）。

Overview

This OLAP Web Control, developed by GrapeCity, Inc. brings the OLAP cubes right into your business applications allowing you to view, explore, and summarize data through your browser.
Following are some of the features provided by the control:

• Drilldown, drillup, slicing, and drillthrough
  
• Run-time layout designer
  
• Multi-language support
  

System Requirements

• Supported Operating Systems: Windows 2000; Windows Server 2003

Requirements to install the OLAP control:

• .NET Framework 1.0
  
• Visual Studio .NET
  
• IIS (Windows Server 2003, Windows 2000 Server)
  

Requirements to use the OLAP control:

• SQL Server 2000 + SP2 or greater Analysis service
  
• XML for Analysis SDK version 1.0
  
• OLAP Control Package
  
• Visual Studio .NET
  
• .NET Framework 1.0
  
• IIS (Windows Server 2003, Windows 2000 Server)
  

Requirements to use the OLAP control:

• Internet Explore 5.5 or greater, and down-level browsers in reduced-functionality mode.
  
• MSXML Parser 3.0 or greater
  

Instructions

After installation is complete, open the local file \Program Files\Visual Studio .NET Web Control for BI\Doc\Reference.chm for reference information.

Note: the reference file also contains a FAQ section.

The install package also includes a sample program which can be accessed at URL localhost/mssqlbiwebctrlsample/. This sample program is by default installed at \Program Files\Visual Studio .NET Web Control for BI\Sample.
