As is clearly reflected in the table above,the percentage of the college students'booklist,from 1992 to 2012.we can see there is a big change of college student's choice of books from 1992 to 2012.Obviously,books of philosophy and society and novels have declined dramatically,while books of foreign languages and computer science have increased.

It is not difficult for us to come up with some possible factors to account for these changes.First of all,there is a pressing need for most college students to study foreign languages and computer science so that they can cope with the state of job market.Secondly,nolvels are still popular though the proportion declined as most popular books can be read online for free.Last,entering the information age,people have access to more and more E-books which can satisfy their need in all directions.

From what we have discussed above,we may come to the conclusion that the books of foreign languages and computer science will still occupy large proportions in college's booklists in the forthcoming years.
