The materials made up of layers,and these layers form what's called a physically based rendered(PBR or material)

We accomplished this through four basic layers of a material:

  • first he base color or a base texture.
  • second,whether or not the material is metallic or metal
  • third,how rough the material is,is the material very sommoth?Does it have roughness to it?And this helps decide how the light spreads over the material.
  • lastly,this one is not always required,but a normal map and a normal map will allow us to simulate depth to our material.
