Stereotype

We all have stereotypes.
Stereotype has its definition in Bing Dictionary, means a fixed idea or image that many people have of a particular type of person or thing, but which is often not true in reality. All of us have some stereotype, though, someone has a lot, someone has less.
Sometimes, we think person with a family of poor financial situation is poor. Sometimes, we judge a book by its cover(以貌取人). Sometimes, we hate rich guys, because we think all rich guys like to play with money and power, play with girls, promiscuous and profligate.
Sometimes, we like someone just because of his/her reputations, such as school, income, looking.
Everyone has own preference. They have the right to choose what they like and what they don't like.
But I wish our lifelong chase could be to get rid of our stereotypes.
Everyone has his or her own limits in perspective. During the whole life, I hope we could try to find out our stereotypes and give a try to get rid of them, or maybe some of these.
In the area of philosophy, there is a classic topic --- what do we live for? About the answer, some philosophers give us some answers. But here is the answer of my version: Life is a journey of experience, we have to embrace life, both good ones and bad ones, to have a whole understanding about what we do, who we are and where we go. Life is also a process of release ourselves, to set us free.
In American culture, they have American Dreams, so American people tend to struggle for doing business and make a better life than what they get from their family. While, in Chinese culture, people value on "imitation of Nature" (道法自然)， so a lot of people like to imitate from Nature, they like tea ceremony, TaiChi, like to live in a more natural way.
I should say, different value have different way of living, and everyone has its own situation！
All in all, let's be open to the world and life itself. Do not say no to everything, just try it before you say no !
