Real riches are more than just earning money

 

Good afternoon, ladies and gentlemen. when I was in the primary school ,I wanted to invent a device which could take me from one place to another in no time at all. when I was in secondary school, I always imagined I could be another Einstein to make contributions to the world’s development.. Now I am a university student, My dream is to ----be a boss so as to earn a lot of money. 

 

What a pity! Why? Why could money easily occupy my brilliant dreams, interests and hobbies? where are my true happiness? And What are the real riches actually?

 

Well, since it seems to be a money-centered society, we always complains about our lack of a lot of money to buy houses, cars and luxuries. We are eager to own a lot of money to enjoy an extravagant life as if money could bring us true happiness.

 

Ladies and gentlemen, real riches are more than just earning money. Bill Gates, for example, donated all of his private money and used 80% of his time to the charity society after his retirement. He gave supports to the poor and the sick. He is worth the name of the real rich. Chinese people always say “Helping others is the source of happiness.” So we could know true happiness means more than earning money.

 

Only when we can give can we be more rich of true happiness.

You will never experience true happiness unless you could help friend solve their urgent problems.

You will never experience true happiness unless you could assist cleaners to do some cleaning in your dormitory.

You will never experience true happiness unless you could donate your blood to those in need/

The more you can give, the more you’ll be rich. The happiness are the only criterion for that.

So please be helpful and available to those in need and this will make you real rich,
