What is Survival Analysis

Survival analysis cares about the relationship between risk factors or treatment and time of disease(other things). Namely, it often refers to the time. For instance, how long will the tumor recur.

Why do we need it

1. Provide the compatibility of the skewed distribution of time event.

2. Provide the probability of surviving past a certain point in time

3. Provide the insight into the failure mechanism
