Monitor test Philips 279P1B 4K 60FPS 10bit HDR400 99%-Adobe RGB, 99% P3, 99% SRGB

So I bought this monitor.

When enabling USB-C high-resolution mode (10bit), with my m1 macbook pro, i can view 10bit HDR400 at 4K 60FPS. The Ethernet port on the monitor can only run at below 400mbps (USB2.0 mode). Lower than my wifi.

But when enabling USB-C high-data-speed mode, I can view 8bit HDR400 at 4K 60FPS. And the Ethernet port runs at around 800mbps (USB3.0 mode).

I used this PSD file to test 8bit or 10bit images on m1 mac. I will leave the link later.

 

So the monitor can't replace a 1Gbps usb3.0 dongle, a 2.5Gbps usb3.0 dongle, or a thunderbolt 3/4 hub.
