advance 和advanced 的意思有什么区别呢？

【答】 他们的区别如下：1. advance 作形容词用的意思是“先头的；先遣的”，只能作定语用。如：

 

The advance troops have sighted the enemy. 先头部队已看见了敌人。

 

2. advanced作形容词用的意思是“高级的；先进的”或“年老的”，既可用作定语，又可用作表语。如：

 

She is an advanced worker. 她是一位先进工作者。

 

His ideas were advanced, and only a few people could understand him. 他的思想太高深了，只有极少数人能理解。

 

Although autumn was well advanced, not a leaf had fallen from the trees. 尽管已经深秋了，但树上连一片叶子也未落下。
