Sign up now to receive trial software for Windows Server 2003 Enterprise x64 Edition. Read about the Customer Preview Program (CPP) and the different options for obtaining the pre-release software. Use the links on the right to download the trial software or order the CD Kit. The pre-release software is time limited and will expire in 360 days.
2. The downloadable software
If you choose to register to download the software, be aware that you will not receive the product CD. The downloadable product software is available in English only.
When you register to download the product software, Microsoft will send you an e-mail message with download instructions. The software can be installed on up to 10 unique computers.
Important: Windows Server 2003 x64 Editions support both AMD64 processors and Intel EM64T processors. Note that this version of Windows cannot be used with the Intel Itanium Processor Family.
After you have completed the download registration process, you will receive an e-mail message with a link to the download page. On the download page, you will see a link to the Setup file and a Product Key for the software you wish to install. The file will be in ISO format and must be burned to a CD before you can install the software on your computer.
The download files are large (approximately 550 megabytes) so the download may take a considerable time to complete. Microsoft recommends only those with broadband, ADSL, or other high-speed Internet connections attempt this download.
