GENERAL SUMMARY

Designs, prototypes, tests and documents new and existing electronic product consistent with customer cost, schedule, performance and quality requirements. 

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS)

1. Develop Embedded SW base on PowerPC, ARM platform or other embedded processor.
2. Responsible for developing PC based application software for vehicle diagnosing
3. Developing and debugging SW for In-Vehicle communication features.
4. Update current telemetric according to change request from test engineer, application team or marketing requirements.
5. Optimize software system.
6. Support production and customer demos.
7. Work on Windows XP and Lynx based embedded environment
8. Working with customer responsible engineer for application engineering
9. Technical interface with customer for product system requirement specification and specific specification definition
10. Working in an internationally organized project.
11. Intensive communication between customer, global team and engineering experts in English

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

1. Over 3-year work experience with development of Windows or Linux based application software and product.
2. Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or other related majors.
3. Master C/C++ program language and OOP..
4. Knowledge of gcc and g++ compiler.
5. Knowledge of Linux or Unix is perfected.
6. Proficient with the overall flow of software development 
7. Good work ethics and a team player
8. Proficient with platform hardware/software development and debug requirements
9. Automotive electronics SW design and development experience is perfected.
10. Familiar with Clear Case or SVN.
LANGUAGE SKILLS

Good verbal and written communications in both English and Chinese

4. Knowledge of Linux based driver development.
5. Proficient with the overall flow of software development 
6. Good work ethics and a team player
7. Proficient with platform hardware/software development and debug requirements
8. Automotive electronics SW design and development experience.
9. CAN implementation experiences are preferred. Familiar with some CAN tools;
10. Familiar with embedded development tools such as compiler, linker, makefile and some debug tools.
11. Familiar with Clear Case. Embedded Linux based SW development is a plus.
