你的优点是什么?

I am a hard working, dedicated person and have a great interest in my major. As you can see, I took part in many major-related competition and have rich project experience in my undergraduate stage , which is driven by my passion for computer science.

介绍一下你的家乡

My hometown Leshan is a tourist city with beautiful scenery, which is well known for world cultural heritage such as Leshan Giant Buddha and Emei Mountain. Leshan is also well known for its delicious food, such as Bobo Chicken，Qiaojiao beef，Tofu Curd and so on. Last but not least, classic and modernity meet here, which makes it a city full of humanity and romance.

介绍一下你的读研计划

I will focuse on the field of fairness in recommendation system in my postgraduate stage. According to the advice of my tutor, I have read many papers on this topic and have a preliminary understanding of this field. I find that causal inference is becoming more and more widely used in this field so I intend to have more in-depth study in model debiasing based on causal inference.

介绍一下对机器学习方向的看法

Machine learning is a branch of artificial intelligence, which aims at learning knowledge from data. It can be divided into supervised learning, unsupervised learning and reinforcement learning. In my point of view, I think hot spots in the future are unsupervised learning and reinforcement learning. Besides, People will pay more attention to interpretability and reliablity rather than pure accuracy in the future.

介绍一下对并行计算方向的看法

It is the golden age of parallel computing with the rapid development of artificial intelligence. Larger models need more data and greater computing power. Parallel computing based on gpu and distributed computing combined with multiple computers is becoming more and more popular nowadays. Especially, I think large scale distributed machine learning is a very promising direction because more and more machine learning algorithms need acceleration.
