New version of wxDesigner based on wxWidgets pre-3.0 released

The most recent version of wxDesigner - a GUI builder for wxWidgets and its popular Python and Perl bindings - is now based on the upcoming wxWidgets 3.0 demonstrating the stability of the wxWidgets developement code base. New features include support for many new controls, UTF-8 support in source code and resources, alpha-transparency support in icons as well as many usability improvements including a new icon set and binaries for 64-bit Linux systems.
