Dragon Boat Festival

My favorite Chinese festival is the Dragon Boat Festival.

It falls on the fifth day of the fifth lunar month every year. It’s a day to remember Qu Yuan, a great poet. On this day, people usually eat zongzi and hold dragon boat races. They also drink realgarwine, hang Chinese mugwort around the doors and carry a spice bag around with them.

What makes the festival special for me is the dragon boat race. The members of the dragon boat team have such great team spirit that everybody tries their best to win the race.

So I like Dragon Boat Festival very much.
