MySQL分支：MariaDB 5.1.51发布

MariaDB 是 MySQL 的一个分支，由 MySQL 创始人 Monty Widenius 所开发。MariaDB 基于事务的Maria存储引擎，替换了MySQL的 MyISAM 存储引擎，它使用了Percona 的 XtraDB，是 InnoDB 的变体。分支的开发者希望提供访问即将到来的 MySQL 5.4 InnoDB 性能。

MariaDB 5.1.51 特性：

    * Includes MySQL 5.1.51

          o For MariaDB 5.1.51 we have merged in all of the upstream changes from MySQL 5.1.51. The MySQL 5.1.51 release notes have details of what changes were made upstream by MySQL since 5.1.50.

    * Includes XtraDB 5.1.51-12

          o We have included XtraDB from Percona-server-5.1.51-12 in this version of MariaDB.

    * Bug Fixes
