I exported a cvs document from a issue tracking system. Then I open it with the Excel. There are too many HTML tags in the document. I want to reformat the document using Excel. I save it to a .xls document, and use the Find/Replace function remove many HTML tags. But I do not want remove the "<BR>" tag simply. I want replace it with a Carry Return. Then the text will display pretty in the cell.
I searched the INTERNET but I have not got any answer about the problem. Many article introduce how to replace the text with the CR in Microsoft Word. I test the method. It works good in Word, but it cannot work in Excel.
At last, I found it is very easy to replace the "<BR>" tag with the CR. I click the Replace.. menu, click the "Option" button, click the "Option" button, input the "<BR>" in the "Find what:" text box, move the focus to the "Replace with" text box and press ALT + Enter. Then click the "Replace All" button. All "<BR>" tag change to CR correctly. :-)
