Acquired in 2006, Wall Street Analytics, a developer of structured finance analysis and monitoring software. The addition of Wall Street Analytics enhances Moody's Analytics’ collateralized debt obligations (CDO) product suite and added mortgage-backed securities (MBS) and asset-backed securities (ABS) analytic software capabilities. Moody’s Analytics acquired Fermat International, a provider of risk and performance management software to the global banking sector, in 2008. Fermat International was headquartered in Paris, France. [13]
With the acquisition of Enb Consulting in 2008, Moody’s Analytics acquired a provider of training services for the financial markets, including technical and soft skills programs for banking and capital markets professionals. Enb Consulting was founded in 2000 in the United Kingdom. [14]
