Reflective Journal Final

When I first learned about digital multimodal composing, I thought it was a very complicated and difficult skill. However, after understanding and studying, I realized that this is actually a skill that we often come into contact with in our daily life. It's not very difficult. Everyone can do it well as long as they have patience. In my study, I also understand the great benefits of digital multimodal composing. Different from traditional writing narration, it can make narration more vivid and interesting. However, it must also be based on traditional writing.
Of course, in the process of learning, I also faced some challenges. When making PPT, I always try my best to show all the details I want to express. But too much content will make the audience bored. So I keep simplifying my content and putting more emphasis on the spiritual core I want to express. When making digital stories, I face more technical problems. Fortunately, these problems are not difficult to solve through trial and error. At the same time, the production of digital stories also emphasizes the arrangement of pictures. The arrangement of each picture needs experiments, so as to find the most suitable one.
Different modes of communication are suitable for different occasions. Similarly, different effects can be achieved. Nowadays, more and more people prefer interesting and diverse ways of communication. PPT may be more suitable for serious occasions, while digital stories are more suitable for relaxed occasions.Of course, this is not absolute.Different communication modes are flexible.
In the process of my creation, I also clearly felt my own problems. I always have a lot of ideas before I create. However, when I start making it myself, I will find that there are many skills that I don't know.At the same time, I also lack patience, so when I encounter these problems, I will lower my requirements, resulting in the final work is not perfect. In addition, sometimes I will have some novel ideas, but because I will not achieve the expected results, I will eventually choose to give up. In my opinion, these problems need more practice to overcome in the future.
In this course, I learned many skills that I have never been exposed to before. I also know that these skills are actually not difficult. I think this is the most rewarding part of this course. At the same time, through study, my writing and narrative skills have also improved. I really benefited a lot from this course.
