Justification for working postpone

I have got the email about the three tasks you assigned to me. I really want to complete them by the end of the day .

But, I stuck in the urgent situation of my team leader in shanghai has already given me some missions before, require me to finish it by EOD for the project's running smoothly.

So for the project team, for the project milestone won't postpone, can you give me more time available to complete the tasks you assigned to me ?

If you do, I will very appreciate you.
