Daddy, may you help pick up the ball?

  The day before yesterday, I was taking annual leave to take care of my son. Right after getting up in the morning, he ran to the small basketball stands without wearing shoes. He picked up one ball and shot the basket. The ball didn't hit but fell onto the floor. He was a bit upset and jumped onto the sofa.

  He asked: “ Daddy, may you help to pick up the ball for me? “ I was a bit annoyed about his laziness and I asked: “Why can't you pick it up by yourself as you picked just now?” “Because I'm not with my shoes and the floor is a bit cold!” he replied.

 

Something jumped up in my mind, and I fetched his shoes for him and said: “how about wearing your shoes and you can pick up the ball by yourself? “ To my surprise, he said: “OK, Daddy! “
