KickassTorrents is a torrent search engine created in 2008 by a group of enthusiast. The new version of the website - KickassTorrents 2.0 was launched in mid 2010 introducing lots of new features and even some social elements.

The main goal of KickassTorrents is to provide users with a user-friendly interface that will make search of torrents easier and more organized. But also we do our best to establish a new high standard for torrent sites and lead the whole community of p2p users into a new era.

Even though we are not a tracker and do not host any torrent files, we understand the possibility of copyright infringements through the use of our website and therefore our team is completely against piracy! Personally we support our favorite artists, developers and companies by purchasing their products and call for all concerned users to do so! Nevertheless we also see the current issues with global copyright laws and stand for any changes that will leave to a better understanding between p2p users and copyright owners.

What is the best alternative to KAT? self.kickasstorrents

I'm really dying here. I DON'T KNOW WHAT TO DO!

Everytime I try and search a movie on piratebay, the quality is either shit or it's a virus. I don't know why they allow all these viruses on piratebay. When I was on kickass, I never encountered a virus, EVER. It sucks so bad that it was taken down.

If you want to keep up-to-date on TV Shows, showrss.info has been incredibly useful for me. I'll grant, the setup is a bit time-consuming, but once you've done that it drops a single RSS that you can use with your client of choice to stay up-to-date on shows.

It's not offline. You have to create a free account then go to the 'My shows' bit and add shows to your list. After that, go to the 'My feed' bit and copy the RSS feed to paste into uTorrent.

The website itself isn't but when you click browse on the top right it brings you to cloud flare. I'll register tomorrow and see how great it is.

I've never tried to use the browse function; that could be part of our difference in experience as well.

Been torrenting for almost 10 years now and I've got to say one of the best websites to download torrents on is RARBG. It is literally my 2nd to go site after KAT. Third would be Piratebay.

(Been torrenting since late 2007, early 2008. Started on Demonoid)

I'm trying that now, it seems ok. Downloading a movie from 1972 and it goes to 500kb/s at times. Not too bad for a very old movie :P

I still preferred KAT for it's GUI. Was so damn perfect <3

Sorry for late reply. Private trackers suck dick. I am with torrentday and they fucking suck ass. The only difference between private and public is that private has better download speeds (most of the time) than public. All the TV shows get like 1000+ seeds. But the quality isn't the best at times. I used to love dimension but he died or something. He never uploads....
