新磁盘再次格式化的时候很慢

问题：

将一块格式化的磁盘，因为重装的服务，想直接格式化数据盘，然后发现格式化的时候很慢，大概要4~5分钟。

In order to create the flesvstem use the -K option with mkfs command, lt will disables the blockdiscard at creating time. More information on mkfs man page:

-K     Do not attempt to discard blocks at mkfs time.
(discarding blocks initially is useful on solidstatedevices and sparse  thin-provisioned storage).

# mkfs.ext4 -K </dev/mapper/path to lvm volume>   # For ext4 filesystem

# mkfs.xfs -K </dev/mapper/path to lvm volume>     # For XFS filesvstem

 

根因：

The mkfs command issues a block discard command on the disk, but the underlying storage devicecannot handle it.
