客户要求我们提供产品的批号,这样就有可追溯性.  他下面这个Batch number 和Lot number有什么区别?  还有这个mix a new master batch of rubber 怎么理解?是每采购一批新原料还是每炼一批胶? 根据他的意思,batch number 应怎么制定?  有理解的朋友吗,万分感谢!

We will be tracking all of the product shipments by your batch number.  We consider a batch to be products made from a unique lot / batch of rubber compound and vulcanized within a certain time frame.  If your company needs to mix a new master batch of rubber, we would consider it a new lot / batch.  Is this the same terminology you use?  

Just to clarify, we need to test each new master batch of rubber to verify that it meets the properties of the original sample.  Please consider a batch to be a new master mix / batch of rubber.  We do not need to test each lot.  Lot being defined as a production run of rakes on a particular day.
