Shasum Command Not Found

 

Q:  I need shasum command to check for the files integrity. I thought of the default command but it says "Command not found " error. How to install shasum and use.? 

 

A:  Specific shasum package could be installed. There is a perl package that contains shasum command,

# yum install perl-Digest-SHA -y

It will install the shasum command.
