安装mysql 出现错误Unable to update security settings. Access denied for user 'root'@'localhost' 的解决

以前安装过MySQL，卸载了之后重新安装，当安装到mysql server的时候出现Unable to update security settings. Access denied for user 'root'@'localhost' (using password: YES)错误提示。百度和谷歌搜该错误的解决办法，头几个中国的博客都不对，只有这篇http://dba.stackexchange.com/questions/55559/access-denied-for-user-rootlocalhost-using-password-yes真正简单的解决问题。不用看了，翻译如下：在配置页面输入“Current root password”的地方留空不写，新的密码填写，问题解决。
