Date jump to next day automatically in COOIS variant

Q: I have one question about how to get the clocking data from COOIS every day , because we need to check and monitor the clocking for more accuracy .  Then my question is that how can make the actual finish date jump to next day automatically when I setup the scheduling job in the background .

A:

For COOIS you need to choose list “Operations” and you can create a layout variant (i.e.- /DIV8OPST). For “the actual finish date jump to next day automatically when I setup” I hope I understand your question……..You can create a variant for your selection screen and create a dynamic date in the variant:

  1. Enter your selection criteria.
  2. Click on the Save button.
  3. In the variant attributes enter a name and description……..You can protect your variant.
  4. You can also protect fields.
  5. For dynamic dates it can only be applied to date fields:
    1. For column “Selection variable” select from drop down list D = Dynamic date calculation”.
    2. For column “Name of variable” select from drop down list
    3. While in popup enter values -xxx for past days from current and +YYY for future days.
    4. Save variant.

Try it a couple of times to see if the dates come in correctly for the date field you want to select.

***Note: For making sure that data is confirmed correctly it is good to work with work center work list and see if there are operations open in the past and act on them real time. Also it is good to use ZMR048 to review how they did STD vs. actual for operations fully confirmed.
