Free Oracle WebLogic Server Installers for Development

Oracle WebLogic Server 14c (14.1.1.0)

Installers with Oracle WebLogic Server and Oracle Coherence:

The generic installer includes all Oracle WebLogic Server and Oracle Coherence software, including examples, and supports development and production usage on all supported platforms except for ARM OCI compute and AIX and zLinux on JDK 11. The generic installers for ARM OCI compute and AIX and zLinux on JDK 11 should be used for these respective platforms. The quick installer is intended for development purposes. It includes all Oracle WebLogic Server and Oracle Coherence runtime software, but excludes examples and localized WebLogic console help files.

The supplemental installer can be used to add examples and localized WebLogic console files to an installation created with the quick installer.

The slim installer is for development and production usage of Docker or CRI-O images and containers in Kubernetes, when WebLogic console monitoring and configuration is not required. It includes all Oracle WebLogic Server and Oracle Coherence server runtime software, but excludes examples, the WebLogic console, WebLogic clients, Maven plug-ins and Java DB. WebLogic Server 14.1.1 Java clients with Jakarta package names

These clients can be used in remote Java client applications that contain libraries using the jakarta.* package naming convention, and that connect to server-side applications hosted in WebLogic Server 12.2.1.4 or in WebLogic Server 14.1.1.    These clients provide equivalent functionality to the WebLogic Server 14.1.1 wlthint3client.jar and com.oracle.webservices.wls.jaxws-wlswss-client.jar clients that are available as part of WebLogic Server installation.   These clients are intended to resolve conflicts that may be encountered when using jakarta.* package names in the same Java process where the WebLogic Server 14.1.1 Java clients are being used.

Oracle WebLogic Server Previous Releases

Oracle WebLogic Server 14.1.1.0

Generic Installer for Oracle WebLogic Server and Oracle Coherence:

This Oracle WebLogic Server 14.1.1.0 generic installer includes ADR. Both the generic installer (wls_lite), which does not include ADR, and the generic installer which includes ADR, are supported in production deployments. Use of ADR is no longer required with WebLogic Server. This installer continues to be available for customers who have existing WebLogic Server installations that contain ADR, and who wish to continue installing WebLogic Server with ADR.
