英语连读规则

  1. consonant + vowel
    辅音接元音连读
    He's holding an egg.
    an egg    /\(ən\) \(eg\)/
    an egg    /\(əneg\)/
    eg:
    1、He's in the garden.
    2、I used to believe in Father Christmas, but not any more.
    3、I have to give up jogging.
    4、He had it in his office

  2. linking /j/
    以/aɪ/音标结尾接元音开头连读,中间有/j/读音过渡
    I always have some breakfast.
    I awlays    /\(aɪ\) \(ˈɔːlweɪz\)/
    I awlays    /\(aɪ\) \(j\) \(ˈɔːlweɪz\)/
    eg:

  3. linking /r/
    以辅音开始的单词r不发音,后接元音需要发/r/音过渡
    war and peace    /\(wɔː\) \(ənd\) \(piːs\)/
    war and peace    /\(wɔː\) \(rənd\) \(piːs\)/
    eg:

  4. linging /w/
    单词以/uː/结尾,后接元音时,中间加/w/读音过渡
    The shoe is on the wrong foot.
    shoe is    /\(ʃuː\) \(ɪz\)/
    shoe is    /\(ʃuː\) \(wɪz\)/
    eg:
    do it

  5. twinning t
    两个t在辅音之间时不发音,两个t在元音之间时,合并为一个较强的/t/音
    It takes two to tango.
    it takes    /\(ɪt\) \(teɪks\)/
    it takes    /\(ɪ\) \(teɪks\)/
    eg:
    get to

  6. twinning s
    一个词以s结尾接另一个词以s开始,合并成一个较长的/s/音
    The man looks sad.
    looks sad    /\(lʊks\) \(sæd\)/
    looks sad    /\(lʊk\) \(sæd\)/
    eg:
    this saturday

  7. 弱读 and
    作为连词的and不那么重要
    fish and chips    /\(ˌfɪʃ\) \(ənd\) \(ˈtʃɪps\)/
    fish and chips    /\(ˌfɪʃ\) \(ən\) \(ˈtʃɪps\)/
    fish and chips    /\(ˌfɪʃ\) \(n\) \(ˈtʃɪps\)/
    eg:
    you and me

  8. 弱读been
    助动词been不重读时,读音弱化
    I’ve been in London 17 years.
    been    /\(biːn\)/
    been    /\(bɪn\)/
    eg:

  9. 弱读can
    情态动词can不重读时,读音弱化
    I can speak two languages.
    can    /\(kæn\)/
    can    /\(k(ə)n\)/
    eg:

  10. 弱读have to
    have to在句子中两个词都弱读
    I have to get up at 6 o'clock.
    have to    /\(ˈhæv\) \(tu\)/
    have to    /\(ˈhæf\) \(tə\)/

  11. 弱读have
    have在辅音结尾词后面时弱读
    I'd've stayed at home.
    have    /\(ˈhæv\)/

    eg:

  12. 弱读he his her him
    he出现在句首发音,出现在句中或辅音后弱读,h不发音
    let him    /\(let\) \(hɪm\)/

  13. 弱读was were
    当was和were不重读时,在句子中弱读
    I was palying football.
    was    /\(wəz\)/
    were    /\(wə(r)\)/

  14. 弱读the
    the发音跟随后面的音节改变,后接元音时读/ði/,i接元音时中间/j/过渡
    the fishes    /\(ðə\) \(ˈfɪʃɪz\)/
    the apple    /\(ði\) \(ˈæpl\)/
    the apple    /\(ði\) \(j\) \(ˈæpl\)/

  15. 弱读/ə/
    不强调时,冠词和介词中的音节/ə/全需要弱读
    It's a piece of cake. <小菜一碟>
    eg:

    the

  16. 略读/d/
    d出现在两个辅音之间时,/d/略读不发音
    I prefer boiled potatoes.
    boiled potatoes    /\(bɔɪld\) \(pəˈteɪtəʊz\)/
    boiled potatoes    /\(bɔɪl\) \(pəˈteɪtəʊz\)/
    eg:
    best friend

  17. 省音/t/
    t出现在两个辅音之间时,/t/省音不读出
    I can't do that.
    can't do it    /\(kɑːnt\) \(duː\) \(ɪt\)/
    can't do it    /\(kɑːn\) \(duː\) \(w\) \(ɪt\)/
    eg:
    best friend
    first person

  18. 失爆/d/ /b/ /t/ /p/ /k/ /g/
    当爆破音结束接辅音时,失去爆破音,但口型要有
    I'd like to visit China.
    eg:
    should think

  19. 加音r
    当一个单词以/ɔː/音结尾,下一个单词以/ə/音开头,中间加/r/音轻读过渡
    Law and order is very important.
    law and    /\(lɔː\) \(ənd\)/
    law and    /\(lɔː\) \(r\) \(ənd\)/
    eg:
    draw a circle

  20. 同音d b
    当一个单词以/d/音结尾,下一个单词以/b/音开头,/d/音变/b/音并与下一个/b/音合并

    speed boat    /\(spiːd\) \(bəʊt\)/
    speed boat    /\(spiːbəʊt\)/
    eg:
    good boy

  21. 同音d g
    当一个单词以/d/音结尾,下一个单词以/g/或/k/音开头,/d/音变/g/或/k/音并与下一个/g/或/k/音合并

    bad girl    /\(bæɡɜːl\)/

    当一个单词以/d/音结尾,下一个单词以/j/音开头,/d/音和/j/音合并成/dʒ/

  23. 同音 n p
    当一个单词以/n/音结尾,下一个单词以/p/音开头,/n/音变为/m/

    on wednesday

  24. 同音s j
    当一个单词以/s/音结尾,下一个单词以/j/音开头,/s/音变为/ʃ/
    Bless you    /\(bles\) \(ju\)/
    Bless you    /\(bleʃ\) \(ju\)/
    eg:
    just shut the door (t在辅音之间不发音)

  25. 同音t j
    当一个单词以/t/音结尾,下一个单词以/j/音开头,/t/音和/j/音合并变为/tʃ/

    meet you    /\(miːt\) \(ju\)/
    eg:

    当一个单词以元音加/t/音结尾,下一个单词以/k/音开头,/t/音变为/k/;
    别忘了两个辅音的略读和省音

  27. 同音t p
    当一个单词以元音加/t/音结尾,下一个单词以/p/音开头,/t/音变为/p/

  28. 同音n d
    当一个单词以/n/音结尾,下一个单词以/d/音开头,/n/音和/d/音合并为/n/;
    /n/后接/w/时,/n/音变为/m/
    It's a sandiwage.
    sandwige    /\(ˈsænd wɪtʃ\)/
    sandwige    /\(ˈsæmwɪtʃ\)/
    eg:
    handbag
