The Symbol Mobility Developer Kit (SMDK) for .NET provides all of the tools necessary to develop C# and VB.NET managed applications for Symbol Mobile Devices. These tools include class libraries, sample applications, and associated documentation. SMDK for .NET allows Microsoft® .NET Compact Framework developers to programmatically access Symbol value-add features of the mobile devices. This release contains the following:
Patch 1 extends the capabilities of the Fusion class and provides fixes for some of the issues in the Barcode class. The patch SMDK-M-1.05.05-P1 contains the following:

Due to the security policy implemented on some computers, the SMDK for .NET installation may fail with the message “The wizard was interrupted before Symbol Mobility Developer Kit for .NET could be completely installed”. To resolve this issue, contact your systems administrator and have them add your user account to the security setting “Impersonate a client after authentication“, found in the local security policy.
All changes to security settings must be made in strict accordance with your company's IT policies.
