Save one hour per day for the innovation

*Describe in detail your idea for optimizing our operations. Ideas might address: -       Reducing costs, improving effectiveness, improving quality, etc.	People are always willing to do the job they like to, especially to the innovation. It will be more efficiency and beneficial to our business if people can choose their favorite project and take work time on it everyday. Just like what I am doing right now for the Ideafest. Actually this is how it works in Google.
Estimate the quantifiable benefits of your idea when implemented: -       Reduce cost by $X/year, improve speed by X%, improve quality (e.g., reduce rework by X%, reduce defects by X%, etc.), etc.	Creating more (Taken 1/8 day for the innovation) business opportunities which can not be measured precisely but really attractive. People are more proactive to their daily job.
*Share your thoughts on how your idea might best be implemented:	Make a rule that people can choose their favorite project and take work time on it for one hour everyday. The innovation topic can be chose freely. The top N projects will be rewarded in every season. The projects which can provide the real business value can be supported by our company's resources.
*Estimate how long it might take to realize the benefits of your idea: (i.e. when might we expect to see the benefits of your idea?)	3 months.
Identify potential challenges to implementing your idea:	The challenge to the traditional logic on the business  to take work time on the employees' self chosen project, which may have side effect to the usual business.
*Share your thoughts on how best to measure and track the benefits of your idea, if implemented:	The innovation project can be an OPM objective candidate of an employ, which can be measured by the S.M.A.R.T method.
