(Message-passing concurrency, shared-state concurrency), Relational Programming, GUI Programming, Distributed Programming, Constraint Programming,
I always believe many things in cs are just simply reinvent the old conepts and ideas. But the difference is with the more advancd hardware and better support of community after the influence of buzz words. Mnay ideas may be possible to take off or at least to give us the chance to know about it and apply it.
