Compression

compression, n.压缩。源于动词compress, 给压力。加ion后缀，该词就变为一种属性，可理解为可压缩性，实现“被压缩的”状态，可以被执行压缩的动作。加了ion后可以被事物所属。

例句: The compression of the wood is easily achieved. 木材的可压缩性是容易达到的，木材是容易达到被压缩的状态的，因此直译为木材是容易被压缩的。

compress作动词，加压，压缩，可以用到文件等具体物体，也能用到时间等抽象概念。它与中文的压缩有相同用法。

compress本身也能作名词，与ion后缀不同，compression表事物属性，而compress表一个具体事物：例如止血的绷带。
