Inmon:

Top-bottom. First have DW, then have DM

Sources -> Stages -> Enterprise Data Warehouse(Centralized, Normalized and Cleaned DW) -> Data Marts.

Keys: Integrate multiple sources into one DW, and use it for multiple Data Marts.

 

Kimball:

Bottom - Top.

Source -> Stage -> Data Mart.

Keys:For Each new Data Mart, source & stage data specifically.
