人为什么会善良
昨天陪老婆考驾照，二级路考。虽然是没有通过而遗憾回来，但考试的经历，却让我们再次感到了加拿大人的善良。
考试就离不开考官。我们去的地方叫克林顿（与前美国总统的名字是一样的Clinton），考官是一个中年女性。由于我们去的早，在我们考之前就已经与她照了好几次面，每次她都微笑与我们“Hi”打一下招呼，当然其他考官也一样，都很和气。她考我老婆时，由于看见我在旁边，还先问了我一下“你今天好吗？”，上车后，首先介绍了考试的内容，同时还提出了考试时，在技术上需要注意的事项。当然，考试并不顺利，刚考到一半，一个路权的概念错误，就导致了我老婆整个考试的失败，但是考官不仅让我老婆坚持考完了全部项目，部分项目还允许她重做，最后回到考场宣布我老婆考试不合格的同时，还详细说明了考试的时候，都出了哪些问题，为什么不合格，在最后，她还告诉我老婆说，“祝你下次运气好”。整个过程，她给我们的感觉是无私，但不铁面，并且时刻让我们感觉到了她是个善良的人。
更让我们感到加拿大人善良的，是在我们去考试的路上。在一个乡间小路的中间，我想与老婆交换一下驾驶位，当我们都下车的时候，竟然稀里糊涂的在加锁的状态关上了车门。前不着村，后不着店，还搞不清楚自己的确切方位；两个人没穿防寒衣，气温低于0度，风里还夹着雪花，我们那叫惨呀。一个老头看见我们需要帮助停下了车，他没有开门的技能，也什么工具都没有，于是开车把我送的就近的居民那里。当我拿着一个铁条回来的时候，看见远远的一辆车迎我而来，原来一位老太太看见我老婆穿着单薄，在车的边上发傻，就停到那里，让我老婆上她的车上去保暖；当看见我从几百米远的地方跑过来的时候，又开车来接我。当我们终于打开车门的时候，我老婆激动地回头拥抱一直守候在我们车后的老太太，眼泪都掉下来了。另外，当我们从发生错误的地点离开大约1公里的时候，看见了一辆警车与我们相向而来，如果此时我们还没有打开车门的话，警察是会给我们帮助的。由于这是我们全天见到的唯一的警车，我们觉得可能是哪位过路的好心人报了警，警察是过来察看情况的。
我们刚到加拿大的时候，大家都说加拿大的白人善良。这虽然也是我们日后的体会，但感觉这句话应修正为“在加拿大长大的人都很善良”。有人说，因为加拿大是个发达国家，国家富了，人就善良了。这句话肯定有道理，但是很模糊。那究竟是什么造就了加拿大人的善良呢？我的家庭医生的门诊里挂了一幅字，是一首英文诗歌，我想这首诗就是答案吧。
