6.13 Ethernet

以太网

      The CPU module features several on-board Ethernet interfaces. As far as the maximum line lengths in Ethernet networks are concerned, various factors must be taken into consideration. With twisted pair cables (transmission rate of 10 Mbit/s
and 100 Mbit/s) for instance, the maximum length of one segment, i.e. the maximum distance between two network components is limited to 100 m due to the electric properties of the cable.

CPU模块具有多个板载以太网接口。就以太网通讯最大线缆长度而言，必须考虑多种因素。例如使用双绞线（传输速率10Mbits/s和100Mbits/s)，一个段的最大长度，即网络组件之间的距离,依据线缆电气属性，不能超过100m。

     In addition, the length limitation for one collision domain must be observed. A collision domain is the area within a network that may be affected by a potential collision. However, this must only be taken into consideration if the components are operated in half duplex mode, as the CSMA/CD access process is only used in this case. If all components work in full duplex mode, no collisions will be caused

     此外，必须遵守一个冲突域的长度限制。一个冲突域是网络中可能受电位影响的区域。然而，只有当组件是这样时，才必须考虑这一点工作在半双工模式，因为CSMA/CD访问过程只用于此的情况。如果所有组件都在全双工模式下工作，则不会造成冲突。
