1 General Safety Instructions
通用安全介绍
This instruction provides general guidelines to be used during mounting and installation of Freelance hardware. This instruction must be supplemented by national or local standards depending upon the specific needs of the installation site.

Freelance controllers, power supplies and accessories are created in accordance with the generally accepted technical rules. Nevertheless, there still exists the danger of person or property damage if the following basic safety information and the warnings in this instruction are not followed.

1.1 Personnel requirements

Power supplies, 110/230 V I/O terminals, fusing elements and other components in the vicinity are operated with dangerous voltages. Touching components that are under such high voltages can cause grave damage to health

In order to avoid such risks and the occurrence of material damage, everyone involved in the assembly, commissioning, and servicing should possess specific knowledge of the following:

1.2 Use as directed

ABB products may only be used for the applications described in the catalog and in the relevant technical documentation. If products and components from other manufacturers are used, these must be recommended or approved by ABB. Proper transport, storage, installation, assembly, commissioning, operation and maintenance are required to ensure that the products operate safely and without any problems. Adhere to permissible ambient conditions. The information in the relevant documentation must be observed. The equipment must only be operated within the environmental conditions specified in the data sheet; otherwise the protection provided by the equipment may be impaired. The same applies in respect to the specified electrical and mechanical data.
