Install Faience Theme and Icons in Ubuntu 12.04
This simple and brief tutorial is going to show you how to install Faience Theme and Faience Icon Theme in Ubuntu using ppa. Faience is a Work In Progress that include GTK3, GTK2, Metacity and Gnome-Shell themes and an icon theme based on Faenza. It supports Gnome 3.6 only, needs Murrine (GTK2) and Unico (GT3) engines to work properly.

Faience GTK, Gnome-shell and icon themes are available to install via a PPA repository. Open a terminal by Ctrl+Alt+T and run following commands one by one:
sudo add-apt-repository ppa:tiheum/equinox sudo apt-get update sudo apt-get install faience-theme faience-icon-theme
Once installed, you can enable them using gnome tweak tool which is available in Ubuntu Software Center.
