ORA-30006 error in XLABABUP Subledger Accounting Balances Update program (Doc ID 1285478.1)
There are two balances programs
Subledger Accounting Balances Update OLD one
Update Subledger Accounting Balances NEW one
2. As per BUG Bug 17329053 : XLABABUP ENDING IN ERROR ORA-30006  The patches that are required are

9524997
13840855
14255667
3. After the patches are applied
Set the Profile: "SLA Balances Parallel mode" to either N or Y
Yes = the DB LEVEL PARALLELISM would be used
No = DB PARALLELISM would NOT be used.
4. Retest with Update Subledger Accounting Balances NEW process

The database Undo retention was at 15 minutes
Gather Schema Statistics program (GSS) ran in parallel with CA
Once the above was corrected, the program completed in few seconds.

Performance Issues With Subledger Accounting Balances Update (Doc ID 2024116.1)
Cause
The program "Subledger Accounting Balances Update" is obsoleted.
New concurrent program "Update Subledger Accounting Balances" will have better performance.
Solution
For release 12.1.3, the below patches are needed to get the new balances program:
1) 9679595:R12.XLA.B
2) 9524997:R12.XLA.B
(both patches have to be applied to get the new program and please strictly follow the Readme of patch 9679595:R12.XLA.B to launh the new program from Create Accounting)
3) 16358835:R12.XLA.B
