Ever wondered how your teachers do it?
Imagine EF is recruiting online teachers,and you want to apply!
In this Life Club,you'll first learn bit about lesson planning,
and then give a short demo lesson to your interviewers.

You have just applied to become an online teacher!

In your group,discuss:

1.What will be the most challenging thing about teaching online?

Teacher does not know if students are listening or doing something else/
Teacher cannot see students' faces.
Internet connection issues.
Don't know if students actually understand.
No body language.

2.Imagine that you will teach a 60-minute on restaurant vocabulary.
How many new vocabulary words will you teach?

What are the different parts of a lesson?

engage:
Get students interested in the topic;
introduce the topic

get the student's attention
attact student attention,make student feel your class is interesting.

Teach students the new vocabulary and grammar.
For example,you can take about the meaning,pronunciation,or use the new vocabulary in sentences.
